    Typical Workflow

    1. Creating an Exam

    • Instructors use Teaching Assistant to print blank test sheets for each student.
    • Test sheets are distributed to students at the start of the test.
    • Questions are either displayed on a board or printed separately to be handed out with the test sheets.
    • Students fill out their names and IDs (if required) and shade the bubbles corresponding to their answers.
    • Upon completion, students return their marked test sheets to the instructor.

    Note: It is recommended to use a black pen or #2 pencil to fill in the sheet. Ensure bubbles are marked completely for best results.

    2. Automated Test Grading

    • When test sheets are printed, Teaching Assistant also generates an “answer key” for the instructor to fill out with the correct answers.
    • After the test, the instructor scans the completed test sheets along with the answer key into Teaching Assistant for automated grading.
    • Teaching Assistant scores each test and generates a detailed report of student results, which can be:
      • Printed as a summary or detailed report at the MFP.
      • Sent to the instructor as a PDF via email.
      • Saved to a USB drive as a PDF.

    Note: All files are cleared from the MFP once the instructor exits Teaching Assistant.
